The Committee of Ministers for the Development of the Negev and the Galilee, headed by Minister Oded Forer, the Minister for the outskirts of the Negev and the Galilee, and in cooperation with the Minister of Internal Security, Amar Bar-Lev, decided today to establish an effort to eradicate agricultural crime.
As part of the decision, two dedicated Border Police volunteer units will be established, one operating in the Northern District and the other in the Southern District Police. Each of the units is expected to operate approximately 150 volunteers.
