Rami Levy was removed from the discussion in the Knesset's Economics Committee on price coordination, following an outburst between him and several Knesset members.

Rami Levy said that if he had not imported tomatoes a year ago, they would have been sold for NIS 25 and not NIS 4-2 per kilo. In response, MKs Ram Shefa and Ofir Sofer asked about the profitability of the matter. Levy replied, "I do not know them."

In response, the committee's chairman, Michael Bitton, demanded that he be removed from the debate and said: "We will not allow you to speak to Knesset members like this, no matter who you are and how much you are worth."
