Foreign Affairs Minister Yair Lapid spoke this morning with Israeli Ambassador to Britain Tzipi Hotovely, who was evacuated last night under heavy security from the London School of Economics, after pro-Palestinian activists on campus and other students prevented her from attending a debate event there.
"Tzipi is strong and will not let any gang of violent and anti-Semitic thugs intimidate her, like all the other Israeli ambassadors in the world. The struggle against the delegitimization of Israel and anti-Semitism is part of our struggle for the Israeli story and our ambassadors are at the forefront of this struggle, "said Lapid.
