MK Simcha Rotman commented on the passage of the suspects' rights law in the first reading in the Knesset.
"In matters of the rights of the individual, there is no coalition and no opposition. Congratulations to Justice Minister Gideon Saar on the occasion of passing the law to disqualify evidence obtained illegally."
"Of course there are many details and points that will need to be addressed in the legislative process, but it is the duty of all of us to maintain a clean enforcement system and set a clear moral position," MK Rotman said.
