In an interview with Galei Tzahal, Diaspora Minister Nachman Shai addressed the issue of bringing to Israel those waiting in Ethiopia following the fighting there.
"If there is no danger - why are Israeli diplomats being evacuated from Ethiopia? Why are they issuing a travel warning? I want to bring the Jews to Israel and do it now - not in a long-term plan," Shai said.
