Senior Defense Ministry official leaving his post after five years

The head of the Defense and Political Division at the Ministry of Defense, Zohar Palti, has informed Defense Minister Benny Gantz and the ministry's director general, Amir Eshel, of his desire to end his position in the first half of 2022, at the end of a five-year term.

For the past forty years, Palti has held senior positions in the IDF, the Mossad and the Ministry of Defense.
