David Lega, a member of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, said in an interview with Israel Hayom: "I do not believe that the Iranian nuclear program is for peaceful purposes."
Lega said that "we have not yet reached a decision about Iran, we are keeping track of them with extreme caution. I do not want to speak on behalf of the committee because we have not yet had a debate on it, but I think many of its members share my position."
