A confrontation broke out between Merav Michaeli and Ayelet Shaked at a cabinet meeting over the approval of three new settlements for the Bedouin sector in the Negev.
Shaked announced that 12 new Jewish settlements and a city for the ultra-Orthodox in the Negev would be established. Merav Michaeli protested the offer and Shaked replied, "We heard."
