The IDF did not send a representative on its behalf for the annual memorial service in memory of the victims of the Sinai Campaign this morning on Mount Herzl.
The person who laid the wreath in the name of the Israel Defense Forces was President Herzog's military secretary, Brigadier General Alaa Abu Roken, reported Kann News.
The IDF responded: "The ceremony was attended by an IDF officer with the rank of brigadier general who laid down an IDF wreath."
