MK Shirley Pinto, of the Yemina party, announced that NIS 6 million has been allocated to increase translation and transcription hours for the deaf, for the first time since 2002.
"After months of long negotiations with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Welfare, I am pleased to announce an increase in translation and transcript hours from the state budget. This is an opening for true and real equal opportunities in everyday life," Pinto said.
