The coalition decided on Monday night to withdraw the Natural Resources Taxation Law following a filibuster by the opposition, out of fear they would not meet the schedule to approve the budget.
Minister Ze'ev Elkin withdrew the law so that the budget discussions can begin at 9:00 a.m., and in order to pass the bill later, it will have to be discussed again. The Blue and White party said in response, "This is a robbery of the citizens of Israel."
