In an interview with Galei Tzahal, MK Israel Katz, former Minister of Finance, attacked the budget ahead of the vote in the Knesset.
"This is a bad and severe budget, which is all decrees and raising taxes. It includes the reforms I brought as a minister, but the government sterilized them - because all the money went to Abbas and Hamas," Katz said, adding: "I sat on the finance committee and asked the finance boys - what happened to the budget we prepared, that didn't include raising taxes? They replied - 'They brought it down from above'. This government has distorted everything"
