The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court extended the detention of the 17-year-old boy who was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murdering his father in their apartment in the city of Beit Shemesh.
The police investigation revealed that the son was arguing with his father during Shabbat. At one point the father (47) got up and went to his room. The son followed him armed with a knife - and stabbed his father in the upper body. Immediately after the act, the suspect's son fled the apartment and was arrested by the police.
