Rabbi Haim Druckman (former member of the National Religious Party) informed the directors of the Zionist-religious education networks yesterday that Prime Minister Naftali Bennett announced in a telephone conversation that the government had decided to include budget items for sacred studies in comprehensive schools, high schools and studios, for the Ministry of Education's budget base, starting this year.

This is an amount of NIS 115 million that until now was dependent on coalition agreements.

The Religious Education Forum thanks for the decision and clarifies that this is the end of a long-running struggle to regulate the budgets of the Religious Education Administration. "This decision will allow the entire high school-zionist education, to continue to provide its 100,000 students with religious studies and Torah education, in an orderly and regular manner, regardless of any political agreements."
