US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday spoke to Sudanese Prime Minister Abdallah Hamdok, who had been released to his home after being detained when the military seized power in a coup.
“Glad to have spoken to Abdallah Hamdok upon his release about the Sudanese people’s fight for democracy and the need to return to civilian leadership,” tweeted Blinken.
