MK Simcha Rothman (Religious Zionism), a member of the Judicial Selection Committee, criticized the Supreme Court's handling of the petition regarding inequality in Knesset committees.
"The judges do not protect the minority, but rather themselves - in order to ensure their continued control. The principle which guides them is political and not legal, this is the Supreme Court party. After repealing laws and removing the Speaker of the Knesset, they remember not to interfere in the work of the Knesset?" Rothman said in an interview with Reshet Bet radio.
