The Knesset's Health Committee, headed by MK Idit Silman, has approved the new "Cap Law" - a fixed monthly budgeting model for hospitals which will provide them with a fixed level of government funding within the framework of the Arrangements Law.
The committee allocated an additional NIS 120 million to the health system, and the section within the law allowing the government to fire hospital administrators was removed.
