Jordan's foreign and justice ministries have recently ordered all lawyers in the country not to approve real estate transactions conducted in Judea and Samaria, Israel Hayom reported.

A directive from Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi to the Ministry of Justice stated that "all notaries in the provinces of the kingdom should stop regulating agencies for use in the state of Palestine. The Jordanian Bar Association should clarify this with the lawyers, and not settle any land sale agreement related to Palestinian land."

The Bar Association, known for its hostility to Israel, issued an identical directive to its members following the letter, calling on "all companies and fellow lawyers not to settle any sale agreement concerning Palestinian land."
