Prof. Zion Hagai, head of the Israel Medical Association (IMA), commented on the intern crisis in an interview with Reshet Bet radio on Sunday.
"We are the ones representing the interns, the competing organization represents barely several hundred doctors, the rest are second- and third-year students. The new outline will favor shortening shifts for interns in the periphery," Hagai said.
