A 47-year-old cyclist with Indian citizenship was killed on Saturday night by a car on Route 34 in the area of Moshav Yoshiva near Netivot.
Police detained the driver of the offending vehicle, and a preliminary investigation revealed that the cyclist was riding in the right lane of the road, where no lighting is installed, with no reflectors or other means of lighting on the bike.
