Speaking on Galei Tzahal this morning, Liron Zaslanski, the head of the Jordan-Syria-Lebanon department within the Foreign Ministry, stressed that Israel is not providing water to Jordan as a bonus.
"We are not giving Jordan water without receiving something in return," she said. "The Jordanians are paying the full price."
She then added that, "Regional stability and peace are strategic interests for Israel."
