Likud chairman MK Yariv Levin issued a statement of support for Netanyahu to continue leading the party.
"In the last election, the Likud led by Netanyahu won 30 seats. A quarter of the electorate, more than a million people, voted for the Likud, for the Likud led by Netanyahu. It is precisely at this time that we are dealing with a bad government, a left-wing government that is destroying the achievements we have reached in the last 12 years, that we should all unite behind Netanyahu once again," Levin said.
According to Levin, "Netanyahu is the only one who can lead the Likud to victory I stand by Netanyahu and I will support him in every confrontation."
