The Ministries of Finance and Health have agreed to improve and expand the treatment system for eating disorders. The program will lead to a shortening of queues for the treatment of eating disorders.
The plan will lead to an expansion of about 70% in the number of appointments currently available for the treatment of eating disorders in hospitals, as well as the addition of beds for the treatment of eating disorders.
In addition, as part of the program, the departments' wards and day care positions will be renovated and changed in a way that will contribute to the well-being of the patients. The cost of the program is estimated at NIS 30 million per year.
