Angela Merkel is expected to land tonight at 22:00 to begin her visit in Israel.
Starting at 22:00, Road 1 heading east will be blocked intermittently and heavy vehicle traffic will not be allowed on Road 1 starting at 20:30.
Traffic will be diverted to roads 444 and 443. In Jerusalem, King David Street will be blocked.
