Dr. Itai Pesach, director of the Safra children's hospital at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, spoke with Galei Tzahal this morning to provide an update on the condition of the six-month-old infant who was hospitalized recently suffering from PIMS (pediatric inflammatory multisystem syndrome).

"We are treating her as a post-coronavirus case, as there is reason to suspect that she contracted the virus in recent weeks, but there are other things that are worrying us right now," Pesach said. "She is connected to a heart-lung machine and is in a very complicated condition, but we are still optimistic," he added.
