A joint study of the cardiology department at Beilinson Hospital and the Clalit Institute found that the incidence of myocarditis after a COVID-19 vaccine is rare even among the group of young men who are at increased risk.
Among the 2.5 million people 16 years of age and older who have been vaccinated, only 54 patients were diagnosed with myocarditis, and in most cases the disease was mild and without significant effects.
