Arab media reported that Egyptian officials in Cairo were surprised when representatives of the Hamas terror group demanded that a cessation of hostilities from Gaza be dependent upon the situation in Judea and Samaria, Jerusalem, and the conditions of terrorists in Israeli prisons.
The report also states that Egyptian sources are expecting an Israeli negotiating team to arrive for talks on the exchange of IDF soldiers' bodies for Arab terrorists serving time in Israel.
