Work has begun at a memorial center dedicated to teaching Israelis about the life and accomplishments of IDF general and founder of the Moledet party, Rehavaam Ze'evi (Gandi), assassinated in 2001 by Arab terrorists in Jerusalem.
Ze'evi's son Palmach said the center would serve to remind the Jewish people whom the Land of Israel truly belongs to and where its roots lye.
Samaria Council Head Yossi Dagan said that teaching the public about the love of Israel was the right way to honor Ze'evi's memory.
