According to the Jerusalem-based al-Quds, senior officials of the Hamas terror organization met head of Egyptian intelligence in Cairo to request that he conduct indirect talks with Israel.
Hamas wants Israel to prolong its ceasefire and ease border crossing restrictions as well as rehabilitation of Gaza following Operation Guardian of the Walls.
