Earthquake shakes border between Brazil and Peru

An earthquake measuring 5.9 magnitude on Saturday shook the Brazil-Peru border area, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.

According to EMSC, the quake was at a depth of 370 miles (597 km).
