Prof. Nadav Davidovich, head of the Association of Public Health Doctors and a member of the government's coronavirus advisory committee, told Galei Tzahal this morning that children most definitely should be vaccinated against coronavirus.
"It's important that children, too, receive the vaccine," Davidovich said. "We are very much hoping that the FDA will approve the vaccine for children soon. Even though the danger of children becoming seriously ill with coronavirus is low, it still exists and they can even die of the illness. In addition, the virus can have long-term health consequences."
