A group of vandals broke into the Chen Hatzafon synagogue in Petah Tikva on Saturday morning. The thieves broke into the safe of an ark, stole silver Torah ornaments, desecrated the Torah scrolls, stripped the covers off of them, and threw the Torah scrolls on the synagogue floor. Worshipers who came to the prayer service at dawn called the police.
