A suicide car bomb exploding Saturday near the presidential palace in Somalia's capital of Mogadishu has left at least seven dead and eight injured, BBC reported, quoting district police chief Mucawiye Ahmed Mudey.
The Islamist terror group Al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack, which targeted a convoy heading towards the presidential palace as it waited at a busy checkpoint.
