Following calls from Knesset members of the Meretz party to evacuate the Malachei Shalom outpost in the Jordan Valley, Yamina MK Yomtob Kalfon responded:
"At this time, when the Jewish People are celebrating the festival of Sukkot and connecting with our heritage, members of the Meretz party are seeking to expel Jews from their homes.
"According to Peace Now's website, Malachei Hashalom was founded in 2015. It was named after Malachi Rozenfeld and Shalom Har Melech Hy"d, who were murdered in that area.
"It would be preferable if the members of the Meretz party remembered that in the Knesset, there are at least 72 right-wing voters who want nothing to do with this question of expulsions."
