Iran's new foreign minister, Hussein Amir Abdullahian, will leave for the United States today, Monday, to attend the UN General Assembly.
An Iranian foreign ministry spokesman said the foreign minister would meet with colleagues from the countries that signed the nuclear deal with Iran in 2015, but would not meet with senior US officials.
