5.6 magnitude earthquake off Papua New Guinea

A moderate-strength earthquake was reported to have struck Papua New Guinea on Sunday, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

The report stated that the quake was felt at a depth of 24.85 miles below sea level.
