A spokesman for the IDF said the army used a number of intelligence tactics to capture the terrorist fugitives in the middle of Jenin without suffering casualties.

"We managed to get it down without encountering a fight or suffering casualties on our side," he said, adding: "It's a good thing it ended without any casualties, but we would have done everything in our power to capture them. The fact that our forces weren't fired at and we managed to capture the six terrorists the way we did is a huge credit to our security forces."
