Lapid: Iran months away from nuclear breakout

In an interview with Yediot Ahronot, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid discussed the Iranian nuclear program.

"When we talk about Iran being months away from being a threshold country, it means months in terms of uranium enrichment - not military capability [to launch a strike]. These are two completely different things," he was quoted as saying.

Asked how long Iran is from an actual bomb, Lapid replied: "Much longer. I don't want to speculate....We have an estimate of course."

Asked if it was more than a month, Lapid said it was.
