Prime Minister Naftali Bennett met today (Tuesday) with the family of Avera Mengistu, who is being held in the Gaza Strip.
The meeting was also attended by the military secretary to the prime minister, Major General Avi Gil, the head of the National Security Staff, Dr. Eyal Hulta, and the coordinator of the prisoners and missing persons, Yaron Blum.
The meeting took place as part of periodic update meetings that the Prime Minister holds with the families of the prisoners and the missing.
The Prime Minister stated to the Mengistu family that he is personally committed to the return of the soldiers and civilians in the Gaza Strip, and that his door is open to them.
