65-year-old Yechiel Haibi, who contracted COVID-19 while under arrest in Jordan, has been transferred to the Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital. After a considerable effort to make the necessary arrangements with hospital staff, he was allowed a brief meeting with his son after an extended period apart.
He was brought to the hospital in an intensive care ambulance and although conscious remains connected to a respirator.
