The walls of the Old City of Jerusalem displayed a greeting for Rosh Hashanah tonight, wishing passers-by a happy and sweet new year.
The mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Lion, said, "Last year we celebrated separately from our families, this year we will celebrate together. I call on everyone to obey public health regulations. May all residents of Jerusalem and Israel have a happy holiday and a happy new year. May it be a healthy year. Happy holidays."
