A Palestinian vessel deviated to the area prohibited from entering for fishing in the northern Gaza Strip, in violation of security regulations and sea arm guidelines.
IDF fighters warned the vessel, and when it did not respond to the calls, they fired in accordance with the instructions for opening fire. One person, a Palestinian, was wounded by gunfire in his lower body, Galei Tzahal reported.
