Carmel Mauda, the daycare worker who was convicted of abusing the children under her care, will commence her prison sentence only after the High Holidays.
The court ruled that she is to be permitted to spend the festivals with her family, in light of the fact that her father suffers from severe illness. She will begin to serve her sentence on September 30.
