Yaffa Ben David, the head of the Teachers' Union, participated in this morning's discussion regarding the commencement of the new school year, held by the Knesset's Education Committee.
"I am saying this unequivocally: It is not our job to check for compliance with the green pass," Ben David said. "The local authorities should appoint people to do that."
She added that, "We must not drag teachers into disputes between parents and officials on these issues. Leave teachers be to focus on what they do best: teaching."
