Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is holding a situation assessment this morning, and will be addressing a number of issues related to the ongoing epidemic. Later today, the government's coronavirus committee will be convening.

On the agenda are various proposals, including one to permit up to 8000 people to gather at the Kotel Plaza for Selichot in the final days leading up to Rosh Hashanah and during the Ten Days of Repentance until Yom Kippur. Partitions will be erected in the plaza and people will be required to wear face masks.

The Prime Minister is also expected to authorize the expansion of the Green Pass program to include employees in the health and education systems as well as those working in establishments where clients are required to present a green pass.
