8072 COVID diagnoses were made on Thursday, out of 133,423 tests administered.
There are currently 689 people in serious condition in the country's hospitals, of whom 149 are on respirators.
The death toll now stands at 6,943 people.
With regard to vaccination, 1,872,056 people have already received a third dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine. 5,464,619 people have received two doses, and 5,943,451 have received one dose.
