A senior official within the Health Ministry told Kan News this morning that if there is no change in the trend of increased coronavirus contagion in the next few days, the government will need to reassess the question of when the new academic year is to begin.
According to the official, if the school year starts amid similar conditions to those currently prevailing, it will certainly lead to an increase in contagion. He added that he would like to see the government imposing further restrictions on public gatherings, limiting them to a maximum of 200 to 400 people.
