Israeli police and firefighters investigating the recent mass fires in the Jerusalem area have reinforced the possibility that deliberate arson is to blame for the incident.
Channel 12 News reported that the investigation revealed two or three hotspots around Moshav Beit Meir where the fire broke out. The theory that this was an act of arson is reinforced by the fact that these areas are not found on widely known footpaths or hiking trails and someone attempting to conceal the crime would be more likely to access these spots.
