Following the large fire in the Jerusalem mountains, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Health are warning of very high air pollution in the localities of Tzuba, Givat Ye'arim, Eitanim Hospital and the area.
According to data measured by the Ministry of Environmental Protection's emergency drives deployed in the field, very high concentrations of respirable particles were found in these localities, which exceed the warning values.
The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Environmental Protection recommend that heart-lung patients, the elderly, children and pregnant women avoid staying outside unnecessarily. And for the rest of the population it is recommended to reduce physical activity outside, close windows and turn on the air conditioner.
