Nissim Toito, commander of the Jerusalem District Fire and Rescue, updated in an interview on Reshet Bet about the firefighting efforts in the Jerusalem mountains.
"The fire is not over yet, but we are allowing residents to return to their homes. The fire consumed about 17,000 acres. The crews worked all night and I believe we will finish by noon," Toito said.
